You can access the
MyYSU Portal via
the YSU website @
www.ysu.edu.

enter to continue…
Enter your directory
account ID and
password.
Click Login
Click Banner SelfService.
Click the Faculty
Services Tab.
Select the
appropriate term.
Select the term, and
click submit.
Select the appropriate
course using “CRN
Selection.”
Select the course and
click Submit.
If the course does not appear, use
Enter CRN (Course Reference
Number) Directly.
Type the 5-Digit CRN and
click Submit.
Now you can view the
summary and detailed
class lists (rosters), as
well as submit final
grades.
The Summary Class List
displays basic information
about the course and its’
students.
You will notice various options underneath each display page….
Use this to Return to The Previous
Menu that you were working on.
You can also view a Detail Class List
Blue “hyperlinks” allow
you to click and retrieve
complete information
about the subject.
The Detail Class List
gives an overview of the
course and its’ students.
You can return to the Main menu by
clicking the Faculty Services Tab….
You can also submit Final
Grades online.
To assign grades, select the grade
from the drop down menu.
Only the applicable grades will be
available for selection.
Once you have submitted the grades you
wish to assign, click submit.
There is a 3-hour timeout limit in
Banner, for security purposes. This
will force your session to close if left
unattended for 3 hours.
Grades can be submitted and changed
until they have been rolled to
Academic History.
For security purposes,
you must always log
out of the system if
you do not intend to
be using Banner.
