Why Bother ?
– Standardise the methods used to calculate DSR and CI’s
– Batch process multiple indicators across many years in one go
– Output directly (well almost - ) from ‘flat file’ to interactive map
– Reduce the burden of standard HES outputs for PHO’s
– Does not require complex routines or specialist programming skills

– Additional metadata details can be added
– Works on raster images and NOT vector points
– Works in any web browser and does not require complex plug-ins
- Does require GIS application to create shape file
