CACFP serves a large number of low-income infants and children

Infants and young children rely on parents and caregivers to create their food environments

This is a critical time for establishing healthy eating patterns

These are critical periods for excess rate of weight gain

Eat Well Play Hard Strategies

Increase consumption of Vegetables and Fruits

Increase consumption of 1% or Less Milk and Low Fat Dairy Products

Increase Developmentally Appropriate Physical Activity
