the UK and has acquired all the necessary knowledge in EXOSTAR’s platform.

EPICOS Industry Clusters (EICs) offer a unique promotional opportunity

EICs are the medium by which EPICOS presents non-classified technical

dynamically and actively in the exchange of information. This is
accomplished via submission of presentations, papers, thesis and
technical descriptions of new systems, capabilities, technologies and

The Boost-Aero project initiated by GIFAS and supported by the major European
A&D industries concerns the adoption of international e-supply chain standards.
•
The Boost-Aero working group is closely co-operating with AIA and ASD for the
development of a common US – European standard, which could then be
expanded to become a Global standard for the A&D industry.
•
Official announcement of the new European A&D e-supply chain standard was
made by BOOST Aero at the Le Bourget Airshow on the 16th of June.

Epicos will establish a European exchange for e-procurement, e-sourcing and ecollaboration (Terrabis) by using Exostar’s proven technology and business
model by adopting and implementing at the same time the new European
standards as well as additional functionality required by the European
environment (legal, fiscal etc.).

The exchange will be fully owned by Europeans and located in Europe.

The two exchanges will be interoperable, ensuring global reach to all buyers and
sellers of both platforms and optimization of the realized investment for the
participant from either side.

The initiation of the process for the launch of ’Terrabis’ was made at Le Bourget
Airshow on the 16th of June, alongside the BOOST Aero standards
announcement. Terrabis will be operational in mid-2006.
