Who will read it? How is it going to be used? What EXACTLY do they need each column? How often is this report likely to be used? What decision will be make with the data? Things to Consider When Creating a Report • Will all columns of data fit on one page? • Does it contain data that will cause duplicate rows? – IP Address – Hard Drives – CPU • Does it have too many Columns? • Is this a one off Report? • Is the report “doable” • You are the Technical Expert!
