ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL
• Breakfast students arrive 8:10 – 8:30
• All other students arrive 8:30 – 8:45
• Walkers dismiss at 2:45
• Bus students pull away at 2:55
• Parents are asked to drop off students outside of the building
so that students gain independence.
• Adults are available inside of the building to assist the
students.
• Parents may come in for breakfast or lunch for a special
occasion.
• Any changes to dismissal need to be put in writing and sent
into school with your child.
District Attendance Policy
 Good attendance leads to positive results!
 Consistently unexcused tardiness and/or absences will




be monitored.
First contact: The classroom teacher will call the parent
or guardian.
Second contact: The principal will contact you.
Third contact: Depending on the situation, the district
attendance office will be in contact with you and the
truancy officer.
A note must be sent stating the date and reason of
absence.
SCHOOL SAFETY
• Doors are locked – buzz in system
• Cameras are located at each door
• Staff posted in all areas at arrival and dismissal
• Practice of fire drills and lockdowns

 Consistency is key. Having a set place and routine for
homework, nightly reading and fact practice will help
your child with organization as well as success.
