Scenario:
Mrs Burton is aware that there has recently been significant developments in
the IT that is available to schools that could possibly speed some of the
everyday processes that happen within the school. You have been asked by Mrs
Burton to identify at least three areas within the school where the introduction
of new systems could possibly improve the efficiency of that area.
Task 1
You are to produce a short report for Mrs Burton that identifies 3 areas within
the school that could be improved with the introduction of new IT systems. For
instance, you could take examples of current practices such as the manual
recording of figures and show how technology could present and store larger
amounts of data and provide results more quickly.
You might also consider how the introduction of new systems might present
information in a more readable format that makes the results of any processing
more informative.
