Learning in the technologies enables me to:
 develop an understanding of the role and impact of
technologies in changing and influencing societies
 gain the confidence and skills to embrace and use
technologies now and in the future, at home, at work
and in the wider community
 I am developing my knowledge and use of safe and
acceptable conduct as I use different technologies to
interact and share experiences, ideas and
information with others. TCH 1-08a / TCH 2-08a

possible dangers.
Be aware what websites they use.
Where are they accessing the internet? Is it a safe,
supervised place?
Be clear on your own rules about what they can
access and how they can communicate and what they
can post.
Make sure they know what to do if anything happens
they are uncomfortable with.
