this unit EDFX 511 Semester 1 in 2014
• STUDENT CONNECT – Make sure your details
are always up to date especially address and
phone contact details

prompt to do this through your University email

• WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK CARD –
APPLY TO GET ONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
• A copy of your WWCC card is due by March 28

where they work
• Avoid schools where you have a child or close
relative attending or working at
Expectations for placement
• Round 1 - 4 WEEKS IN A SCHOOL , FULL TIME
Apr 28 – May 23
• Round 2 - 5 WEEKS IN A SCHOOL , FULL TIME
Aug 18 – Sep 19
• Expected pre-service teachers attend from
8:15am to approx 4:30pm daily. Some days may
involve later finishing times for meetings etc...
• Professional conduct
• Absence inform school & PCE office provide
medical certificate
