DepEd’s Goal and Commitment

• Incorporating Abot-Alam into the local DepEd’s KRAs

Expectations from the LGU
• Share in the vision of “No Filipino youth left behind” -Wala sang bata sa Iloilo nga mabilin.
• Adopt Abot-Alam as the LGU’s program for OSYs in
partnership with DepEd.
• Provide leadership, with support from the local DepEd, to
the Abot-Alam local alliance
• Mandate the barangays to gather data based on AbotAlam template/format
• Allocate and mobilize resources
• Undertake local level advocacy campaign to generate
support for the program
