Significant Project ?
A significant project is one that, alone or in combination with other
concurrent projects nearby, is anticipated to cause sustained work
zone impacts greater than what is considered tolerable based on this
policy and/or engineering judgment.
• Initial Criteria (Fall 2007)
–Interstate lane closures for 3
days or more
–Every job on Statewide
Transportation Improvement
Program (STIP).
