Step 1. Submit MSJC application

Step 4. Complete and turn in High School Parent
Agreement form (only for high school
students)
Step 5. Meet with a Counselor
Step 6. Register online
Step 7. Apply for Financial Aid
Guidelines:
 Currently in grade 11 or 12
 Age 15 or older at the time the course begins
 3.0 GPA
 Complete matriculation process
 Turn in high school transcripts and Parent/School Agreement
form
 Register for classes after approval from Enrollment Services
 ALL STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF CLASS!
What type of course load:
 Two classes - 8 units maximum
 Limited to degree applicable courses
 Meet with a Counselor
Note: 9th and 10th grade students must submit a letter of
recommendation (using school letterhead) from a teacher in
the same discipline

No room for error! That means it is your
responsibility to make sure you are meeting
deadlines and reporting information accurately.
Many CSU campuses are giving priority to students
in their local service areas.
Have a back-up plan and apply to more than one
campus.


Fill out financial aid information by the March
2nd deadline for 2010-2011 academic year
Complete the Matriculation Process in March
Refresh Math, English and Reading skills before
completing the assessment test, refer to MSJC
Assessment website for sample questions
Get a letter from HS stating that they will be
graduating in June in order to get a registration
date for Summer classes (Registration starts in
May for SU 10)
Register as early as possible, classes will go fast
