Why a Waste code?

• Most if not all of the waste STFC generates is ‘

Controlled

’, examples include: • • • • Waste paper; empty printer cartridges, fluorescent tubes, oils Scrap metal; batteries; electronic equipment - PCs Waste from building sites, waste food, plastic cups, cardboard Scrap scientific equipment, cabling, monitors • STFC has a ‘

Why a Waste code?

• Some ‘
