How to make a 3D Snowflake

Using recycled paper

Step 1.

 Using template cut out 6 additional squares. – (Or 5 and use the template)  Best to choose paper that is only half printed on.

Step 2.

   Fold paper to make a triangle and have the folded part to the bottom. Using scissors cut two strips along bottom edge. (don’t cut all the way to the other side) Once open should look like so 

Step 3.

  Now you want to fold in the edges and tape. I use half a piece of tape and it is good. Flip over and roll on other side. Flip back to starting side and do last one.

 Do the same to remaining 5.

Step 4.

   Take 3 of your petals and staple together.

Staple other three together.

You might need help for this one. – Take both sides and staple together.  Use tape pieces to connect the petals to one another if they are floppy.

How to make streamers

Using recycled paper

Step 1.

 Ok so the papers that were not good for the first project can be used here.  Fold a paper accordion style till it is all used up.

– Can fold the paper and cut in two or three to make multiple streamers.

Step 2.

  On side with ink draw a pattern that you wish to use. – Putting it on this side will make it so that you wont see any pencil when it is being displayed. Choose a design that is more of a silhouette. Otherwise details will be lost.  Good Bad

Step 3.

 Make sure that there is contact to each side of the paper. This is so they will be connected.  Once done cutting unfold and you will have a streamer. 
