How do I access the
Texas Assessment Management System?
The Texas Assessment Management System can be accessed through the
Texas Assessment website at http://www.TexasAssessment.com
User Roles and Permissions
The Texas User Roles and Permissions document is located on the Resources
(http://www.TexasAssessment.com/resources) page at Support >Resources
>Technology Information.
Support and Resources
The Support screen provides a range of system support materials, including frequently asked
questions (FAQs) about different functions; information about how to contact Pearson if you
have a question; and various downloadable resources, such as manuals, templates, and
tutorials
Manage Teacher Directory
The Teacher directory allows you to filter, sort, and manage Teacher
accounts within your district.
View Organizations
View Organizations is where you will be able to view organization
details, contacts, test administrations, administration details, groups
and group details, responsibilities, and tests.
Student Data
Student Data refers to student demographic data and other
testing-related information about the individual students.
Test Setup
Test Setup activities help you to prepare for both paper and online testing.
Administration Details
Show test administration details such as precoding option, paper precode
sort order, online night testing, and optional reports orders.
Manage Participation Counts
Participation Counts must be entered for STAAR Grades 3-8,
STAAR End-of-Course and TAKS by November 7th.
Order Additional Materials
Order Additional Materials
Use Order Additional Materials to order additional paper materials if you
need more materials than originally provided in your initial distribution.
Shipment Tracking
Use Shipment Tracking to check on the status of existing orders and
track order shipments to and from Pearson
TestNav
Use Configure TestNav to manage proctor caching computer
configurations. Proctor caching is required for all administrations.
Test Management
In order for precode materials to be generated and districts receive
precoded materials (for paper testing) students must be registered.


TELPAS Holistic Ratings
TELPAS Holistic Ratings activities include managing rating entry groups,
entering holistic rating information, uploading holistic rating information and
viewing status reports.

You can complete the following tasks: enter assessment data view status
reports for the STAAR Alternate administrations
Test Results
Districts can view and download their reports or data files online using
the Texas Assessment Management System.
Practice Center – Logging In
To log in to the Practice Center
1. Enter http://www.TexasAssessment.com
into your browser.
2. Click the Log in to the Texas Assessment
Management System Practice Center link
in the Related Links panel.
3. Enter your username and password, and
then click Login to go to the homepage for
the Practice Center.
NOTE: Before using the Practice Center you
must first follow the link in the New User
Account e-mail from
[email protected] to
initialize your user account and password.
