SU gets acceptance confirmation from the selected students. Chinese universities
collect and submit application forms and passport copies to SU
March 15
SU submits paperwork to registrar and get approval, apply for student IDs, SEVIS
Form DS-1029, etc.,
April 30
UGVR students receive official invitation letters and DS-1029 forms
May
Chinese students go for visa application and interview
June
SU helps students to do make travel arrangement (after visa approval)
July 6 – Sept 10
UGVR students arrive Stanford and conduct summer research
