Admissions • Complete a Dental Assisting Application including High school and college transcripts • Meet with the Program Director • Prior to fall full time enrollment: CPR, Complete Health Assessment Form,

Program Content 32 units • Basic Skills and Infection Control • Dental Materials • Oral Radiology/Certificate • Chairside Assisting A and B • RDA duties • Inservice Training (DDS & USC) • Front Office Administration/Computers • Applied Human Behavior

Optional Summer Session • RDA Review practical and written Exam • Orthodontic Assistant Clinical Hours

Program Completion • Certificate in Dental Assisting • Additional courses =AS with Certificate in Dental Assisting • Eligibility for RDA and CDA applications • Experience and Confidence to apply to other Dental Related programs • X-ray, DPA and IC certificate • Job Readiness/Employability= 100 %
