Introduction
 The
TAFE Teacher Program Diary (TPD) replaces
the electronic Establishment Control (eEC) system
based on Microsoft Excel Workbooks.
 It enables all TAFE teachers to submit time tables
for approval and into the Timetable Information
System (TIS) and to the Lattice payroll system.

SI Implementation Plan
 Implementation
of TPD to begin in Term 1, 2009
 Implementation completed end of Term 2, 2009
 New TPD System is still undergoing testing and
some issues are being identified and resolved
 It is planned that the eEC workbook will not be
supported beyond Term 2, 2009
 It is expected that all Institutes will be using the
new solution fully from Term 3, 2009

User Support
HR – TPD Section is responsible for the first
level of support
 Technical and Systems issues will continue to be
supported by HR Corporate Support but escalated via
Institute TPD Unit.
 TPD team will liaise with the TPD programming team to
resolve technical issues and report solutions back to
super users and champions as appropriate

Self Service (ESS)
 The
Employee Self-Service (ESS) area of the DET
Portal, enables you to access various HR related
functions.
 From the ESS area you can access the TPD site
(via THR).
