PRESENTATION
The high prevalence of biological complications of the peri-implant tissues represents a very timely topic nowadays. Whereas the procedures for the reconstruction of
the peri-implant tissues lesions still give poorly predictable results, we are returning to
giving great importance to the preservation of compromised dental elements: indeed, while it is true that a not placed fixture will never run into complications, it is
equally true that the early detection and resolution of possibly present periodontal
pathologies can significantly reduce the occurrence of peri-implant biological complications.
The aim of this meeting is simply to focus on the correct diagnostic and therapeutic
periodontal procedures in order to ensure the long-term success of implant-prosthetic rehabilitation which, when indicated, are a valuable tool for our patients’ rehabilitation.
A group of Speakers extraordinarily expert in the single aspects of this issue will give
