Enjoy the Christmas dinner in Le Début!
Dear guest,
It is almost Christmas time, and Le Début Amsterdam comes to you with something special!
The Christmas dinner is a special menu that we serve from the 13th until the 17th and the
19th until the 22nd of December. The evening will start between 18.00 and 18.30 with an
apéritif in Les Saveurs. After this you will be guided to Le Début to enjoy a 5 course Christmas
menu for only €39,50! Of course a matching wine arrangement is available.
The menu will be the following:
Tartare of carrots served in rettich, with ginger beer, black garlic and cucumber
foam
Worteltartaar in rettich geserveerd, gemberbier, zwarte knoflook en een schuim van
komkommer

Pan fried scallops with spruce tree, salted lemon skin, served with cauliflower and
black cabbage
Gebakken Coquilles met dennentakken, gezouten citroen, gebakken bloemkool en palmkool

Pan fried saddle of hare with red cabbage, celeriac, quince puree, and a gravy with
mocha
Hazenrug met rode kool, knolselderij en kweeperen puree, geserveerd met mokkajus

Walnut “cornetto” with blue Stilton and pear compote
Walnoten ‘’cornetto’’ met blue Stilton en peren compote

Buffet with a variety of Christmas sweets
