WHAT’S
At a time when we see things getting fragmented
and polarized, Agorά of Identities is an event that
aims at establishing a new mindset to pull things
together: an open place in which ideas, knowledge
and activities, coming from people, organizations,
businesses, institutions and cultures from different
geographical areas are brought together to inspire
each other with fresh ideas and cross-currents
leading to imagining, designing and bringing about
the common good.
The Collegio Artigianelli will welcome Agor ά of
Identities 2016. In the Piedmont area, Collegio
Artigianelli has always been an important centre
where aggregation, convergence and social
innovation took place.
Agorά of Identities will be developed in meetings and seminars,
conversations and stories aimed at young people and will find
expression in three general thematic areas:

Agorά of Identities is the organization run by Opera
Torinese del Murialdo, an association of bodies and
companies which are inspired by the Congregation of St.
Joseph, founded by St. Leonardo Murialdo in 1873.
The Congregation directs its efforts towards young people
in particular, to educate and to offer professional worktraining courses: it tries in the local environment to promote
work and careers through new models of sustainable
development and social inclusion. Beginning in 2013 in
Turin, the Josephites have launched a new time of
awareness that looks towards fresh solutions, for the
problems found, in developing a version of economy that
accepts the strength and responsibilities involved in its
social impact. In their world-wide activities, the Josephites
work directly alongside more than 200,000 people, in
Italy alone.
