What do they do?
Soldiers do many important things. Soldiers
do training for 10 weeks. Marines train for 12
weeks. Marines are called civilians when they
leave the corps. Marines fly helicopters like
the CH 53E Super Stallion. Many marines
trained for fighting battles.
What do they need?
Soldiers need many things. Soldiers need a
GPS to find their way. Soldiers have a post for
home. The marine corps has 21 bases.
Soldiers need AAV tanks that float on water
and drive on land. Soldiers have a radar to
watch the weather. Soldiers have planes like
the f-22 raptor.
How do they help our
communities?
Soldiers help our communities. Men and
women protect the country. Soldiers
protect the people with an airplane. If an
enemy comes soldiers fight them. Some
soldiers do protect our country and us.
Interesting facts
Soldiers have interesting jobs. Most soldiers
serve for four years or their whole life. Airmen
live on bases that have homes, stores and
hospitals. Airmen move to another base after
four years. They carry supplies with airplanes
called C-130.
