Establishes a NIH “Innovation Fund” funded at $2B per year from FY16 -20
includes the Precision Medicine Initiative and young emerging scientists
Other highlights:
Calls for an IOM study on duplication in biomedical research
Establishes a Biomedical Research Working Group to provide recommendations
to reduce the administrative burdens of NIH funded researchers.
