 Six (6) Research Service Centers (RSCs)
provide cradle-to-grave support for all
sponsored project activity (pre and postaward)
 Contract negotiators draft, review, and
negotiate all sponsored project/research
contracts, except licenses/IP agreements
 Central office staff serve as post-award
liaison, points of contact for audits, and other
post award/financial matters
 Significant hiring of staff to complete the
office organizational chart
