In the novel The Hot Zone, author Richard Preston suggest that
the spread of infectious viruses are partly due to human error. In
a well-developed, documented essay, analyze at least three
examples of human error presented in the book that contributed
to the spread of the virus. Using your analysis as a springboard,
propose a logical strategy for protecting our country and its
citizens against future outbreaks of infectious diseases. Explain
why these measures are essential.
