Transcript Sept 25
Agenda September 25
Daily lifelines:
Today’s Physics concept: I will understand how
velocity and displacement work together
Entry task: Look at your Cornell notes from
last nights homework and on the left page
across from your notes create a T-chart
comparing and contrasting velocity and
displacement
Agenda
Vocabulary: One-dimensional motion
Motion that takes place in one direction
Go over homework
Graph matching activity
Walker lab– you will need eight people in a
group
Make sure to graph your data when you return
Notes: speed and velocity
End of class write-up
Explain how to show
velocity and time
graphically (ie. What is on
the x-axis, what is on the y,
how should the graph look?)

Homework
Please staple everything together.
Homework:
due September 25
If time permits, you may begin this in class.
Read pg. 45-47. Do Cornell notes on these
pages focusing on how velocity and speed
differ and how to interpret velocity
graphically. Do the conceptual challenge on
pg 45 across from the notes on the left side
page. Do section review problems 1-6.
