
Our world makes it too easy for kids
to be INACTIVE!
American kids are getting fatter!


At no time in history have American
children been more overweight!
Nationally ~ one-third 2-19 year olds 
overweight or obese.
American kids are getting sicker!

The Standard American Diet (SAD) and
increasing childhood inactivity have
contributed to epidemic proportional
increases in type II diabetes occurring with
young populations.
American kids are getting sadder!

The number of children on prescription
mood-altering drugs (for anxiety,
depression, etc.) has increased 300% over
the last 10 years.
Some Solutions?

Many no or low cost opportunities for
ALL children that maximize
opportunities to move in ways that are
rewarding and enjoyable!
Adults trained to help create these
opportunities and model healthy living
practices.

Daily, purposefully planned,
developmentally appropriate, physical
education for ALL children K-12.
