Goals:
• to provide the optimum design, together with a profound
basis of experience for safe operation;
• to provide the skilled professional staff required for the
realization and operation of the ITER Deuterium Tritium Fuel
Cycle and for the tritium handling in ITER;
• to defend and further strengthen the leading European
position in the field.

• Introductory study consisting of an introduction to the institutional technologies
and equipments;
• Courses: CATIA V5 (beginners);
Swagelok fittings course;
IPR and Contract Management course;
3rd Karlsruhe International School on Fusion Technologies
• Design of an experimental setup for tritium extraction from the CD column;
• 1 ISI article published (as co-author).
Future activities:
• participation to a series of technical and complementary skills courses;
• further involvement in the development of the detritiation systems (ICIT
and TLK): design and experimental activities;
• Participation in different operational procedures and become acquainted
with the various working fields at JET.
