2009)

Endorsement of PIF by the GEF Focal Points of each
country (1st - 2nd quarter of 2012)

Review/Clearance of the PIF by the GEF Secretariat
(2nd quarter of 2012)
•
Approval of PIF by the GEF Council (June 2012)
•
Preparation of project document by UNDP, FAO and
FFA, SPC and partners (Ongoing)
GEF Project Cycle
•
Submission of project document and Review by GEF
Secretariat (target is June 2013)
•
Circulation to GEF Council; final approval of project
by GEF (minimum of 6 weeks)
•
Signatures of countries; agreements between
UNDP/FAO with FFA; agreements between FFA and
partners
•
Start of project implementation (last quarter of 2013 to
first quarter of 2014)
