Classroom decoration: pictures or word cards with target language Language: target language/ no translation Learning content: focus on everyday vocabulary and sentences Grammar: inductively/no explanation Vocabulary: taught through demonstration,body language,objects and pictures Test: questions & answers/ fill-in-the-blank/ dictation/ drawing… example Step 1: T takes the card, points to them and says “It is white. It is black. It i brown.” Step 2: T points to white wall, hair and door, repeatedly saying “It is white. It is black. It i brown.” Step 3: T guides L to repeat the vocabulary and sentences. If necessary,T will employ various techniques to get L to self-correct. Pros Let L learn second language in a natural context.
