• Where was the explorer born?
• When were they born?
• What did they do before they became an
explorer, if anything?
• If available what did their father do for a living?
• What country funded their expedition?
• Details about their most famous expeditions.
• When, Where, and How did they die?
• Why are they important? (Effects of modern
society)

• Answers to all of the above questions need to
be found in your paper.
• Proofread, check for spelling and grammar
errors.

Part 2: Travel Brochure
• Create a “cruise line” modeled after the
expeditions of the explorer that you have
• Research the modern areas that the explorers
visited on their expeditions.
• Create a brochure that will entice people to
take a cruise on you cruise line

• Brochures must include Name of the cruise
line on the front with a logo, and a picture of
one of the areas that the tourist will visit

• One the inside you must include an itinerary
for you cruise
• You must have at least 3 attractions that you
will visit on your cruise
• You need a picture for each one and a small
explanation of the attraction

• The questions and the answers must have at
least 10.

• Must include the name of your Cruise Line, and an
attention grabbing catch phrase
• Include a prices starting at statement that you will
figure out by researching the attractions you will be
visiting and current Cruise Prices
