Introduction


User-Producer workshop was held and some
items were prioritized to meet the demand of
users, in line with the available resources.
Based on the Users demand, the items will
be collected at different levels, i.e. from
Population Census (complete count), Sample
Agricultural Census (Core and
Supplementary module), Annual and
specialized surveys.
Strategy


The agreement was reached to collect two items
under the Population Census:
Then Data Producers were mandated to
negotiate with the Population Census department for
inclusion of two core items i.e.
- Identification and location of agricultural holding
- Land tenure type
- Livestock numbers for each Household
The meeting agreed that Sex, age and household
size will be easily calculated once the identification
and location of agricultural holding is known
Strategy



For some items which contains variables that do not
change much over time, It was agreed that data will
be collected in the Agricultural Census (Core
module). (6 items)
For items in which demand was high, it was decided
to collect data under Agricultural Census
(Supplementary module) (4 items from core and 49
items from themes)
It was agreed that for items where the demand for
data is less, collection will be conducted through
specialized surveys.
Strategy

It was decided to collect Theme 09 with 9
items under follow up surveys
