Two jobs I have had
Tutor
Salesman
Topic Sentence
•
Being a tutor and salesman are both jobs for me to
earn my living. Although both of them are my jobs,
there are still some similarities and differences
between tutor and salesman.
Similarities and contrast
•
To be a tutor, you could discuss the place, where
you teach, with your student. However, to be a
salesman, you may not discuss the place and where
you want to work with your manager. You need to
stay in company all day long until it’s time to go
home.
•
On the other hand, to request how much money
you’ll get paid isn’t allowed for salesman. The
amount of salary isn’t flexible in this occupation. In
contrast, tutor is allowed to decide the salary. You
may discuss it with students’ parents. The price of
salary isn’t limited that you could announce how
much you want. However, the first thing is you need
to teach well.

Eventually, there is high pressure in these both of
jobs. Tutor needs to worry about students’ score, and
the way you teach your students. Besides, the
students’ parents will also give you stress, too.
Similarly, salesman needs to worry about their
customers and daily business scores. If your
business scores is too low, and isn’t any progress.
You’ll not only be blamed by your manager, but also,
much worse, be fired by the company.
Conclusion
•
To sum up, although these two jobs are really hard
for me, in order to earn more money, I need to keep
going and do my both jobs well. Some day, I’ll be a
great tutor or well known salesman in the future.
