He has made plans to go abroad and study for a degree. He goes to talk to his boss, Mr. Johnson, about it. Peter knocks on the door. Johnson:Really ? What seems to be the problem. Peter: Oh ,don't get me wrong ,there's no problem with the job .It's just that I think it's time for me to go back to school again to further my studies I'm leaving for Boston U beginning of the next fall semester. Johnson:Oh...right...I do remember that you've always wanted to go study abroad. Peter: Yes ,and this was supposed to be a temp job to get me the money I need to go to graduate school .Now I'm in a good place financially and I think it's time for me to move on to the next step I hope you understand that. Johnson:Don't worry ,I do understand .You told me about your plans when you first took the job .I appreciate your honesty .Now I'm starting to worry about finding a replacement .You've been the best on my team ,whoever comes after you is going to have a hard time trying to fill your shoes . Peter: You are being too kind .I'm sure you'll find someone just as capable. Jonson: Let's hope so .So are you going to be okay ,money – wise ,not working for maybe three to four years? Peter: I got granted a scholarship so living expenses is all I have to worry about ,and I have been saving up. Johnson:So when do you plan to leave? Peter: I'm thinking the end of this year ,is that ok? That way I'll be able to finish the cases I have on my hands now .And it'll give you time to find the replacement. Johnson:Alright then, I guess that's that. I got to say ,it’s been great working with you .I hope we have the chance to work together again in the future. Peter: There’s definitely the possibility .We’ll see how things go after I get my degree.
