Results
The overall results suggest that HRM practices
that facilitate cooperation and knowledge
sharing among employees enhance a firm’s
innovation supportive culture and social capital,
and indirectly promote NPD performance by
these organizational mechanisms.
Work design that emphasizes cross-functional
coordination and open communication channels
may directly and positively influence the social
interactions, trust, and shared understanding
between employees.
Results
The relationship between HRM
practices and innovation performance
exists, and specifically with regard to
NPD performance.
Appropriate HRM practices can help to
build the social networks and
cooperation among employees that
are vital in the knowledge-sharing
and innovative processes.
