How to Access Destiny
Two ways to access:
At School – Click on the Destiny Icon
At Home – From the School Website - Click School
Directory, then click Library
The list of Murrieta Schools will open…
Click on Shivela Middle School
Logging in to Your Account
Click on Login…
• Your Username is your 9-digit number
• Your Password is your First Name and Grade
To search the Card Catalog
You are now logged in to your personal account…
Click on Quest Home
You can now search the Card Catalog and save books to your Personal List
To begin searching, type your book title or subject in the Find box and click Go
Click on a book to get information
about the book…
You save the book in your personal
list by clicking on the book,
dragging it and dropping it into
your list…
Searching the Internet
To search the internet, simply type your
subject in the find box and click One Search
Databases will pop up with results on your
subject
Search through the Databases to find the
best information
Click on Add to this List to put it in your
personal list
Citing Sources from Destiny
To Cite your sources from Destiny, either
from your book list or website list, click
on your Personal List and then click Print
Options tab
Then click on the Print Preview tab
• Book Citation
• Website Citation
• Simply Copy and Paste onto your Works Cited
page
