New separate checkbox in the Circulation Matrix.

The ability to place a request is no longer tied to
the ability to place a callslip.

The ability to Charge [without Override], during a
walk-in scenario still depends on the
Charge/Renew checkbox.

Implications for Upgrade



At Upgrade, any matrix combination that currently
has the Charge/Renew checkbox CHECKED, will
also have the UB Request option checked.
Libraries that were using the Charge/Renew
checkbox to deflect UB requests can now use the
UB checkbox to control that.
Recommendation: edit SysAdmin matrix
combinations for UB patron groups to
accommodate new button.

For Matrix entries with the Charge/Renew
checkbox UNchecked, simply Check it, but leave
the UB Request option Unchecked.

This will avoid Overrides on Charge transactions
for onsite reciprocal borrowing scenarios, but will
still prevent remote requests on those item.
