• ADL Series

ADL Series
•No changes or edits to questions or choices
•Changes to help text can be very helpful.
Multiple Choice Series
•Good for when each question requires an answer.
• Allows infinite number of “follow-up” questions.
Check Box Yes/No Series
•Pick and choose the appropriate choices.
•Allows follow-up questions and “jumps” to new series

Tips for Major Changes:
1. Has the original series been in use?
NO:
Make edits as desired.
YES:
“Hide” the original series, and create a
new series.
Go to Series Properties and change
“category” to [None]
Hide a series by changing “category” to [None]
Tips for Major Changes:
2. Have you run a report for your new series yet?
NO:
Give it a try.
YES:
“But I did not get my new information”.
Report properties may need to be
changed to accommodate your new
series.
Make a copy of the report, and create
new properties as needed.
Adding a new Multiple Choice
Series
 A facility wants to record what TYPE of
bath was given.
 Imagine Multiple Choice Series. (What
type of Bath was given?)
 Imagine choices. (Tub, Shower, Bed bath,
Refused, None given.)
