down 6 important facts about James Thurber. (These
are class sets – please don’t write on them.)

 Read “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”
 1-30-14: List 3 different types of people Walter imagines
he is during the course of the story.
 Write a page describing a scene from an imaginary job
that you want to have – astronaut, musician, artist,
race car driver – something like that. Be very
descriptive.
