• Low voltages in the region for the loss of Douglas Co
transformer.
• Install a 2nd Douglas Co 115/ 69 kV transformer.
• Planned inservice date is ~ 2011
Monticello Transformer Upgrade:
• Loss of Sherco – Benton 345 kV line overloads
Monticello 345/230 kV transformer.
• Upgrade the existing transformer to 550 MVA.
• Inservice date ~ 2011.
Sioux Falls Area Upgrades
• Add second 112
