From the Pastor

At the end of Paul’s life he wrote: ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith’ 2 Timothy 4:7. As some of you know, these words are important for my wife Diny and me in these days of her illness. In times of good health, living in the affluent West, we are not always conscious of the ongoing fight of faith. Who do we worship - not only in times of trouble but also in times of success and blessings? Do we sing daily about the love and faithfulness of our Lord whether our Gilbert van Bueren prayers are answered or not? Join us in this good fight of faith. And thank you for encouraging us to do the same. Until Jesus returns!

"Living a life filled with thankfulness"

proposal. We began to fast and pray about it. Great are the deeds of His Hand..! Within one month we were engaged and we got married on 12th of August, 2015. God’s love held us together. “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. (Song of Solomon: 6:3)”.Taking this opportunity, we would like to thank Pastor Gilbert and Chris for again that IBC is Home away from Home!

for showering his blessings on us.

Praise the Lord..! I’m glad to get an opportunity to pen our testimony here in IBC.

As far as my background goes, I've been brought up in a pretty devoted Christian household. I accepted the Lord when I was 16. Mother Teresa being my inspiration, ever since my childhood, I had a desire to become a doctor and serve. God has blessed me all through my career to achieve my dream. God has been helping John and me in exercising our faith and keeping our testimony alive in our lives. John has completed his Master’s in Business Administration. He got an opportunity to work here in the Netherlands in 2013 and has been here ever since then. God has been blessing him in his career as the years go by. Whatever may come, he starts his day only after meditating on God’s Word and a prayer. Being born and brought up in a spiritual background, John tells me all the time that IBC has helped him learn how to have a close relationship with God.

Though we both hail from the same place we never knew each other - it was only when a mutual family friend of ours approached each of our families regarding the marriage leading us through the marriage course, which helped us and taught us a lot on how to lead a Christian life as a family. We feel so blessed to be a part ofIBC. The love and care that you all show towards us make us feel at home. Every time we meet, you prove yet We learnt the habit of looking unto God and holding Him in every situation and we continue to pray for His will to be fulfilled in our lives. We give thanks to our Almighty - Pranuthi John
