Tests Reading, English, Math, Science (writing optional) • • Perfect score 36 (Average of all three sections) Students strong in Math and Science do best!

COLLEGES WILL ACCEPT EITHER TEST! Many colleges will require writing. Fee waivers available for students who qualify (free or reduced lunch)

Beyond Graduation Requirements Course grades are not included in GPA Eligibility is still based on course grade Student will receive numeric grades on report card P or F will print on transcript for semester grade Conference with your counselor before deciding Deadline is one week after first report card Must apply for each semester  Exceptions: Cannot P/F Endorsement classes OR Dual credit classes

Option for college bound students!

• • • • • • Students may earn both high school and college credit – confirm with college of choice for transferability Requires eligibility testing requirements Pay fees directly to Lone Star Earn up to 6+ hours of college credit per class if a C or better is earned in course Dual courses have a weighted GPA value Options: English 4, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, College Algebra, US History, Government, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, French, Spanish and German
