Diana at Mother’s Funeral
January 6, 2006
Everyone in England and Scotland has been informed as far as I am aware
and thank you for all your kindness and understanding.
The picture of Diana on RRS Discovery was taken by me a week or so after
her mother had died. One of Diana's relatives worked on her when she was
built in Scotland in 1900.
You might be glad to know I was at her mother’s funeral in Scotland and
was a great comfort to Diana at this very distressful time for her.
It seems so sad that Diana has passed away in the same month of January
as her mother.
Once again I would like to thank you for all your kindness to Diana and my
thoughts and many of my friends and Diana's family will be with you on
Saturday at the celebration of Diana's life.
My kindest regards to you all at this very sad time.
Peter
