Minimum requirements to practice psychology:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Degree
- Doctoral Degree (Published Dissertation)
- Pass state licensing exam
1. Developmental Psychology
- studies human mental and physical growth
from the womb through old age.
2. Neuroscience and Physiological
Psychology
- investigates the biological basis of human
behavior, thoughts, and emotions.
3. Personality Psychology
- studies differences in individuals’ anxiety,
sociability, self-esteem, etc.
4. Clinical and Counseling Psychology
- interested in the diagnosis, cause, and
treatment of psychological disorders
5. Social Psychology
- studies how people influence each other.
6. Industrial and Organizational (I/O)
Psychology
- specialize in training personnel, improving
productivity and working conditions, etc.
