O The transition was not as hard as I thought
O Once you get used to the changing of classes, it is
actually pretty fun
O Lockers are really easy to use
O RA (resource activity) is really useful; it is a half-anhour period in the beginning of the day in which you
can go to the library, study, read, participate in a
club, or get help from a teacher
Teams
O Synergy is the best team
O 3 teams for seventh grade are Synergy,
Fusion, and Phoenix
O At NMS, you do everything with your team.
You eat lunch, go on field trips, have classes
and participate in your arts period with your
team
O Its important to know people on your team
Lunch
O The lunch at NMS is so much better than it
was in elementary school
O NMS has amazing m&m cookies
O They also have iced tea, PowerAde, and V8
for drinks
In the morning
O Buses will usually come to your house
ranging from 7:00 AM- 7:50 AM
O You are recommended to come to school at
around 8 o’clock
O Your parents can also drive you to
School but there is usually a longer line
Afternoon
O In the afternoon, all buses usually arrive at
around 3:05
O If you are the first stop, depending upon
where you live you will probably be there
around 3:20-3:30
O You can also sign up for different sports and
clubs inside of school
