what users think of
Windows Vista

To do this the operating
system was disguised as a
new system code-named
“Mojave”

Average score given to
“Mojave” was 8.5

Average score before
demo was 4.4

Participants were current users
of many current operating
from pre-XP versions of
Windows to Linux

Was performed on a HP
dv2000 notebook with 2GB of
RAM

19% of respondents rated
“Mojave” a 10

Some participants would have
rated higher if had more time
to play with it themselves

Less than ½ of participants’ thoughts and
views on the experiment were shown

Demos were controlled and often times
led by an experienced Vista user

Not all footage was made available to
the public to view

Critical of overall design of the experiment

