Meet Miss Woods:
A Teacher
By Peggy Tsai
Reading
Writing
Ms. Woods is a third grade teacher at Nimitz
Elementary School. She has been teaching for 18 years.
She enjoys skiing and she loves to read.
There are four skills that Ms. Woods needs to have
to be a teacher. First, reading is important because she
reads stories to her students. She also reads to become a
better teacher.
Math
Interpersonal Skills
Another skill she needs to have is writing. Writing is
important because it is one way that she expresses herself
and communicates with others.
Next, Ms. Woods needs to know how to do math.
She teaches math to her students. She also does a lot of
math when she does the report card and when she makes
things for her students.
Finally, Ms. Woods needs to have interpersonal
skills. She works with other teachers to plan fun lessons
for students. She gets excited for students and knows how
to cheer people up when they are feeling sad.
Ms. Woods is a wonderful teacher!
