Edmodo is a secure, social learning platform for teachers, students,
schools and districts. Edmodo provides a safe and easy way for your
class to connect and collaborate, share content and access homework,
grades and school notices.

Homework
• Homework is assigned
daily to reinforce and
extend classroom
instruction.
• 5th graders are
responsible for
recording all homework
in their agenda &
getting their agenda
signed by a parent daily.
• Study hall will be
provided for students
with incomplete
homework/class work.
Dress Code
• No hats worn in
building (unless
specified Hat Day)
• No tank tops with
spaghetti straps
• No shorts above
finger tips
Class Behavior Plan
• Students earn tickets
throughout the day for
positive behavior and/or
work habits.
• Students can trade in
tickets for special
rewards & privileges.
• Students may also lose
tickets for failure to
follow class rules,
procedures, or missing
assignments.

• Sept. - ITBS
• March- Georgia 5th Grade Writing
Assessment
• April - CRCT (*5th Graders must pass both
reading and math sections to be
promoted to 6th grade.)
End of Year Fieldtrip
• When: Tuesday, May 6th, 2014
• Where: Ruby Falls, The Southern Bell
River Boat Tour, and the TN Aquarium
• Leave @ 6:45 AM
• Due back @ 6:00 PM (VERY TIRED &
HAPPY!!)
• Cost $65 (Info. will come home soon)
