is een live-installatie die meerdere dagen open is.
Je moet je aanmelden om binnen te gaan en je kan zo lang blijven als je wil. Binnen krijg je instructies, gereedschap en een veiligheidsbril zodat je aan het werk kan. Aan jou om te zien hoe de dingen uiteenval len en hoe ze samenvallen.
Meld je aan en ga aan het werk.

Kate McIntosh is een kunstenares afkomstig uit Nieuw-Zeeland die de grenzen van performance, theater, video en installatie overstijgt. Ze volgde een dansopleiding en treedt internationaal op sinds 1995. Ze was te zien in werk van regisseurs en gezelschappen als Wendy Hous toun (VK), Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre, Cie Michèle Anne de Mey, Random Scream, Simone Aughterlony (NZ/Zwitserland) en Tim Etchells (VK). Sinds 2004 concentreert Kate zich vooral op het regisse ren van eigen werk, waaronder de solo’s
All Natural
(2004) en
Loose Pro mise
(2007), en de grotere performances
Hair From the Throat
(2006),
Dark Matter
(2009) en
Untried Untested
(2012). Ze maakte ook installa ties, zoals
De-Placed
(2008 met Eva Meyer-Keller) en de participatieve installatie
Worktable
(2011). Voor haar eigen oeuvre werkte ze samen met Tim Etchells, Eva Meyer-Keller, Jo Randerson, Lilia Mestre, Charo Calvo, Diederik Peeters en vele anderen. Kate regisseerde eveneens vele korte video’s die vertoond werden op festivals en tentoonstellingen over de hele wereld. Ze is stichtend lid van het Belgische performance collectief en punkrockgroep Poni, en ze behaalde een MRes in Perfor mance en Creatieve Research aan de Roehampton University (VK). Ze is ook stichtend lid van SPIN, een door kunstenaars geleid productie- en researchplatform uit Brussel.

Kate McIntosh est une artiste qui brouille les frontières entre perfor mance, théâtre, vidéo et installation. Née en Nouvelle-Zélande, elle se forme à la danse et se produit internationalement depuis 1995, multi pliant les collaborations avec notamment Wendy Houstoun (UK), Meryl Tankard (Australian Dance Theatre), Michèle Anne de Mey (Belgique), Davis Freeman (Random Scream – Belgique), Simone Aughterlony (NZ/Suisse) et Tim Etchells (Forced Enterntainment – UK). Depuis 2004, Kate McIntosh se concentre sur la création d’une œuvre personnelle qui inclut les solos
All Natural
(2004) et
Loose Promise
(2007), ainsi que des spectacles de plus grande envergure, comme
Hair From the Throat
(2006),
Dark Matter
(2009) et
Untried Untested
(2012). Parmi ses instal lations, on peut citer

(2011). Pour ses propres cré ations, elle a pris goût à collaborer avec Tim Etchells, Eva Meyer-Keller, Jo Randerson, Lilia Mestre, Charo Calvo, Diederik Peeters et bien d’au tres. Kate McIntosh a en outre réalisé plusieurs courts-métrages pré sentés à l’occasion de festivals et d’expositions à travers le monde.
Membre fondatrice du collectif de performance et groupe punk-rock Poni, elle est aussi co-fondatrice de SPIN, une plateforme participative de production et de recherche, basée à Bruxelles. McIntosh est diplômée en recherche sur les arts vivants de l’université de Roehampton (UK).

Kate McIntosh is an artist working across the boundaries of perfor mance, theatre, video and installation. From New Zealand and originally trained in dance, she has performed internationally since 1995, appea ring in the work of directors such as Wendy Houstoun (UK), Meryl Tan kard Australian Dance Theatre, Cie Michèle Anne de Mey (Belgium), Random Scream (Belgium), Simone Aughterlony (NZ/Switzerland) and Tim Etchells (UK). Since 2004 Kate has focused on directing her own work, including the solos

(2004), and
Loose Promise
(2007), and the larger performances
Hair From the Throat
(2006),
Dark Matter
(2009) and
Untried Untested
(2012). Her installation works include
De Placed

She is a founding member of SPIN, the artist-run production and research platform based in Brussels.
