Benchmarking Technical and content standards or guidelines to ensure interoperability and accessibility have been adopted BASIC Working on adoption of international standards GOOD Standards recommended BEST Standards mandatory / process ensures interoperability No standards are identified at the beginning of the initiative, but there is an awareness of the importance of standards. Research and information-sharing encourages the development of shared approaches during the life of the initiative. Standards are recommended, and the implementation of these standards is decided by those taking part in the initiative. The initiative decides on the standards that will be implemented, and ensures that the implementation for these standards is mandatory.
